Aunt Mary

Remembering and missing Eddy. This time of year and in Wisconsin a serious blizzard shut the university down for a day just before finals. A rare occurrence. He and the guys from his freshman dorm did the classic Madison campus winter thing - riding trays from the Memorial Union Rathskeller down the long steep hill behind Liz Waters Hall to the lake. They had a great time.

I notice that a phrase in the first line of Edward's poem is from the title of one of his grandfather's novels.
