It is hard to believe that Edward would have been 40 today. I miss him as much now as I did 20 years ago. But I take great joy in knowing that he had an amazing and full life in the 19 years he was here with us. He was a talented writer, an avid environmentalist and a dear friend to many. Every day I see his sensitivity and determination in Jake and his creativity and kindness in Charlie. He lives on in my heart and that of many others.

Thanks, Diana. It is wonderful to see the pictures. I think of him, too, every day. So many odd little things remind me of him. I remember his intelligence, creativity, and sense of humor. They are memories of fun times. He was a complex and elegant man.
