Pumpkin patches, pumpkin tosses, pumpkin carving, transformers and rainy trick-or-treating. When it all leads to this much candy, everybody's happy!

School's Out for Summer!

Today was Jake's last day of 3-day preschool.  Click here to see the shutterfly album.  He had an amazing year.  We cannot say enough good things about Cliff Valley and his teachers Cheryl & Mubarka.  He has changed so much since he started school in September.  Cherlyl & Mubarka described him as a class leader at his end-of-year conference and this is such a change from the shy little boy who didn't want me to leave him on the first day of school.  He has started reading and writing some simple words, knows some Spanish and sings songs to us that we have never heard before.  We start swimming lessons next week!

M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E

There are not enough words to describe how much fun we had at Charlie's inaugural Disney trip.  It was fast but exhausting and so so so much fun.  Trip highlights include the animal safari jeep tour at Animal Kingdom, the Goofy roller coaster (for Jake), getting his own Mickey ears (for Charlie), princess makeovers (for the girls) and meeting Mickey Mouse in person (for D.)  Click here for the Shutterfly album.  Click here to see Christine's Kodak album.

Melissa's Spa Day

Ralph

Jake and Charlie went to their first rock concert this morning!  They had a blast dancing and singing with Ralph and friends.  Charlie had so much fun that we now think that he may have been faking the stomach flu last time Ralph was in town so that we wouldn't go to the concert without him...  Mama was a little star-struck when she met the legend, but luckily nobody fainted.  Check out the Shutterfly album for more pictures from the concert.
